Anaya Hidden Cottage Hotel
Design: PLAT ASIA
Location: Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province
Anaya Yinlu Hotel is located in Anaya Gold Coast Community, Binhai New Avenue, Changli County, Qinhuangdao City, the entire hotel is located in a group of 5-storey reinforced concrete buildings and two-storey ancillary buildings, the design team was commissioned when the construction of the civil part of the building. The interior design scope includes 180 guest rooms, multi-functional lobby, all-day restaurant, banquet hall, SPA treatment center, meditation room, etc.
The design of the hotel lobby was inspired by the analysis of the current location of the hotel and the potential space needs of the users. The hotel is far away from the intensive supporting service area of the Anaya community center. In order to meet the requirements of tourists for sharing and communicating and staying space, and to facilitate the planning of different business types in the future, the designer has changed the design method of the lobby design mainly through sexual functions, but by dissolving the original large-scale lobby space into a small space of family size, so as to realize the possibility of tourists staying for a long time. The all-day restaurant on the first floor and the banquet hall on the second floor are connected to the lobby through the lobby, and the teahouse space with the sense of street is unified with the material — wood, and the ceiling treatment with the sense of variation in the regularity, here the natural perception of the hotel is continued. The design concept of the lobby is the traditional street and tea pavilion with a great sense of vacation and affinity. The regular modular “tea pavilion” space is organized and naturally scattered. At the same time, the atmosphere light box is combined to create a street sense. While the “tea booths” are enclosed on three sides to ensure privacy, they also enhance the flow sense of the overall space with partially suspended, floating and raised partition walls, balancing the openness and closure of the lobby. Wood and stone are selected as the main materials for the interior. The two materials with natural properties fade the artificial feeling and add a natural feeling for people on vacation.
The sense of belonging created by the natural atmosphere created by the lobby and the small-scale family experience are more fully presented in the guest room area, and bring guests an immersive experience. It is an important part of the holiday experience to relax the body and senses and restore the spirit. There are 5 room types in the room area, and each room is equipped with a large soup pool to enhance the experience of guests in winter. Among them, the courtyard suite is equipped with an independent courtyard and a pool space. The pool space can be opened to the outside to connect the outdoor courtyard and provide a soaking experience in nature and under the stars, or it can be opened to the inside to create a private soaking time. n order to meet the requirements of tourists for sharing and communicating and staying space, and to facilitate the planning of different business types in the future, the designer has changed the design method of the lobby design mainly through sexual functions, but by dissolving the original large-scale lobby space into a small space of family size, so as to realize the possibility of tourists staying for a long time. The abnormal-sized bar in the guest room is the second key point to enhance the hotel’s sense of vacation. Its unconventional furniture scale switches people’s habitual cognition of conventional space and scene into vacation mode, and the non-daily scale perception guides people to experience vacation life more deeply. The sense of belonging created by the natural atmosphere created by the lobby and the small-scale family experience are more fully presented in the guest room area, and bring guests an immersive experience. The materials of the rooms continue the texture and gentle intimacy of the wood grain and emphasize the higher degree of privacy of the rooms compared to the public areas by increasing the proportion of wood materials used.
