Guangxi, located in the southern frontier of China, is situated between longitude 104 ° 28 ′ -112 ° 04 ′ E and latitude 20 ° 54 ′ -26 ° 24 ′ N. The Tropic of Cancer crosses the central region. During the Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period, Lingnan was part of the Baiyue region, while Guangxi was part of Baiyue. In 214 BC, the Qin Dynasty conquered Baiyue and established Guilin Commandery, Nanhai Commandery, and Xiang Commandery in Lingnan. Most of Guangxi today belongs to Guilin Commandery and Xiang Commandery, hence the name “Gui” in Guangxi.
1.Li River landscape

2.Longji Terraced Fields
Longji Terraced Fields is a national 4A level tourist attraction, and Jinkeng Terraced Fields is a part of Longji Terraced Fields Scenic Area, known as a world tourist landscape. The magnificent momentum, misty mountains, unique Yao villages, and colorful customs form a magnificent picture. This is not only a photography paradise that Chinese and foreign photographers aspire to, but also a world wonder for leisure and sightseeing for Chinese and foreign tourists. The Jinkeng Terraced Fields, which stretch for more than 10 square kilometers, have gone through hundreds of years of ups and downs since the Yuan Dynasty.
3.Chengyang Bazhai
Here, the Dong ethnic customs are rich, and there are abundant original ecological tourism resources of the Dong ethnic group in China. It is famous for its unique wind and rain bridge, drum tower, hanging wooden tower, four seasons countryside, and its rich folk customs. Jiuzhou has been famous for making embroidered ball fabrics since ancient times. There are more than 500 households on Jiuzhou Street, and every household can make embroidered balls. From seven or eight year old children to six or seventy year old ladies, they all participate in making embroidered balls, with an annual output of more than 300000 embroidered balls, known as the “hometown of Chinese embroidered balls”.
6.Cotton sinkhole
Cotton sinkhole, 326 meters deep and 305 meters wide, resembling a large funnel, with a cliff cut thousands of feet straight into the ground. The plank road spirals on the cantilever towards the bottom of the pit, like the connection between the surface of the earth and the underworld world, dangerous, strange, steep, majestic, beautiful! Being immersed in it feels like entering a secret realm. Walking up the boardwalk built on the cliffs is a more popular way of viewing, where you can slowly appreciate the wonders of the sinkhole. Or standing on a suspended ladder, looking down from top to bottom, the cliffs and steep cliffs timidly step into the air, and the abyss shakes the mountains, which is a great shock both visually and spiritually.
7.Hechi Xiaosanxia
The Hechi Xiaosanxia Scenic Area is located in Liujia Town, Jinchengjiang District, Hechi City, Guangxi Province. It consists of Tianmen Gorge, Liangfeng Gorge, and Longmen Gorge, and is a typical limestone karst canyon, known as the “first secluded valley in Zhuang Township” and “the first canyon in the south”. Within the scenic area, there are towering peaks, carved cliffs, inverted stalactites, ancient vines hanging from the sky, winding paths leading to secluded surroundings. The river surface is spotless, and the water and sky are of one color. Tourists can come here for boat rides, photography tours, and experience simple folk customs in Zhuang Village. Self driving: Starting from the city center of Hechi, drive along the Jinchengjiang Liujia Highway for about 20 kilometers to reach the scenic area.
8.Detian Falls
The Detian Waterfall is located at the border between China and Vietnam, upstream of the Guichun River. The waterfall is 100 meters wide and 40 meters high, with a majestic and majestic appearance. The silver waterfall cascades down three levels, creating a spectacular sight. If connected to the neighboring Banyue Waterfall in Vietnam, it can be considered the second largest transnational waterfall in the world. Upstream of the waterfall, the river water is sometimes fast and sometimes slow, sometimes closing, winding and twisting. Among the towering ancient trees, flowers and plants are hidden, and hundreds of birds are hovering low. Suddenly, the river water encounters a cliff and cascades down. It’s like a huge silver necklace hanging high in the canyon. Standing under the waterfall, the water vapor evaporates and connects with Yunhan. Its rolling torrent breaks and gathers, flying down and rushing through three levels in a row. The sound of waves echoes in the mountains, like a giant thunder that can be heard for miles. Looking up at the top of the waterfall, the peaks seem to float, the giant waterfall is like a sea, and the water droplets splash like pearls.
9.Haokun Lake
Haokun Lake, formerly known as Donghu Lake, is a national 4A level scenic spot. Tourists said that the beauty of Haokun Lake’s scenery exceeded their expectations. Like Lugu Lake, it is surrounded by mountains, but what sets it apart is that the Creator has also placed Guilin style peaks here, making it unique to Guangxi.

10.Tongling Grand Canyon
